Self Defense Awareness Month (Oct. 6)

This weekend I had the wonderful opportunity to meet with Mikayla Bouchard. She is the director of the Women's Self Defense Awareness Month Program. Courtney and I met with Mikalya and her father who is Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard. Together, we kicked off this program with a press conference. Here's a video clip of what this is all about. For the month of October, there will be self defense classes held at the Beverly Hills Club every Saturday. It's not too late to sign up; every woman should know how to protect herself.

Here is the crowning moment from the final competition night! This is the first time it was recorded in HD! The new footage is meant to be reminiscent of a Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. How awesome does it look?!! Hope you enjoy it.

I am so excited to be representing the state of Michigan this year! I will try to make you guys proud!! I will attempt to update this blog as frequently as possible so keep checking in.
